Remote Transmitters:
If you have a working remote or a remote that you know definately used to work on your system then look on the back of the remote for the FCC ID. Type the FCC ID into the FCC ID search box at the tope left of this screen. If you are unable to find the remote you need then call us and we'll look it up for you.
If you don't have an existing remote to compare to then you should first start by looking up the year and model of your vehicle by clicking here. There will be a verification procedure to let you know how to figure out if your vehicle is equipped with factory keyless entry.
If you lost an aftermarket remote then you need to find the brand and model name of your aftermarket system and call us with that. You can find that either on the owner's manual of the system or on the brain of the system itself. You can find the brain (control module) under the driver or passenger side dashboard. It will be a plastic box with wires coming out of it. If you have a valet switch or LED light you can trace the wires to the box. |
